Crossroads Christian Academy Rainy Day Fund
We know that many families have been adversely impacted financially by the COVID-19 pandemic, and as a school community we want to do all that we can to stand with those families who are experiencing financial challenges. The school board has approved a Rainy Day Fund to help families who have been significantly impacted financially during this time. The fund is intended to give some temporary, need-based financial assistance to families.
If this describes your situation, we encourage you to apply for this special one-time financial assistance. While we cannot make any promises regarding how much assistance a family may be awarded, we encourage all who are interested to apply. Financial assistance will be awarded for the 2020-2021 school year only. CCA cannot guarantee that there will be additional assistance available after the 2020-2021 school year.
Once you have all the necessary documentation, the online application should take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete. All applications must be completed by June 1, 2020. You will also be asked to upload some documentation in order to validate the information included in the application. All documentation must be submitted to FAST by June 15, 2020. The Financial Aid Committee will review the recommendation for assistance made by the third party (FAST). We expect to communicate awards in mid-July.
Before beginning the application, please review the Frequently Asked Questions sheet (below), which explains more about the application process and the documents needed. Additionally, feel free to contact us with any questions you may have by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We want you to know that we are praying for you during this very difficult time. We believe that Philippians 4:6-7 is true: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” May you experience God’s peace as you pray, give thanks, and trust in Him!
