  • Because of space and staff restrictions, students with special educational needs are generally not accepted into the school.
  • All students accepted in 1st grade through 12th grade must be able to speak and write in English at their academic level.

K5 through 10th Grade Applicants
  • Must be proficient in English
  • Must pass an academic examination and interview
  • Transfers from Panamanian Schools: We do not promote local students in January to the next grade level due to the difference in the academic calendar (Note: If your child is enrolled in a local school with a Panamanian calendar, and you wish for them to enter our current school year, due to MEDUCA legislation, they will have to enter in the same grade in which they are now or just finished.)
    • Must be proficient in English
    • Must have a "4" average in all subjects.
    • Must pass an academic examination and interview

11th Grade Applicants
  • CCA is extremely selective in the acceptance of students for their junior year of classes.  A student's previous records must be very strong, and the student must have positive references concerning work ethic, character, adaptability, and English language ability from their previous school.  Due to CCA's small student population, the class schedule is fairly limited in flexibility.  Therefore, if the remaining classes a student needs for graduation do not fit into the school schedule, the student will not be accepted regardless of records and recommendations.  Few students transferring from an educational system other than the US system will be accepted this late in their academic careers.

12th Grade Applicants
  • CCA does not accept students for their senior year of classes except in rare circumstances.  Students who would be transferring from an educational system other than the US system will not be considered under any circumstances.

Please Note: 11th and 12th grade students who would be transferring from an educational system other than the US system will not be considered under any circumstances.
