Academics

Academic Goals

CCA strives to provide an excellent, all-around academic program for students. We actively search for teachers who are lifelong learners and want to instill that same trait in their students.

We encourage and help our educators to continue their education so that we may provide an ever-improving education using the latest, research-based teaching tools and strategies.

CCA incorporates technology into daily learning and searches out high-quality curricula that will challenge and excite our students while integrating God’s word into each area of study.

To provide the best education possible and to fit the needs of our students, we also offer online courses to supplement our regular classroom courses.

All full-time faculty and staff members hold a BA or BS degree, and eleven hold advanced degrees.

There is one teacher for each elementary grade level, and the secondary faculty consists of trained teachers in:

          -English/Literature
          -Mathematics
          -Social Studies
          -Science
          -Foreign Language
          -Bible
          -Physical Education
          -Art
          -Music
          -Technology

Our administrative team structure consists of:

          -Director
          -Business Manager
          -Secondary and Elementary Principal
          -Dean of Students
          -Administrative Assistant

Our staff also includes:

          -Registrar
          -Athletic Director
          -Health services coordinator
          -Librarian
          -IT Coordinator

          -Student Counselor
          -Marketing Coordinator
          -College Counselor (part-time)

At CCA, the Spanish department is fully committed to the development and growth of the Spanish language in the life of the students. We offer four levels of Spanish classes:

          -basic
          -intermediate
          -advanced
          -native

Speaking and writing are emphasized during Spanish classes, preparing the students to integrate into the Hispanic world that surrounds them and to function in a multicultural setting.

While learning language, the Word of God is integrated in a practical way in order to cultivate a Biblical worldview and Christian character in our students. Developing this capability in a second or third language will open doors of opportunity for our students.

CCA offers a variety of elective classes to add real-world experience to each student's schedule. Example elective classes include:

          -music
          -digital art
          -psychology
          -foreign language
          -technology
          -physical education

Through these classes, we hope that each student will have an opportunity to develop practical life skills that will help them be productive citizens and well-rounded individuals who are prepared to serve the Lord and others.
